PSLE

Introduction

The Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) is an annual national examination that is taken by candidates at the end of their final year of primary school education, in Singapore. The exams typically take place between September and October, except for oral exams in language subjects, which are held in August. The PSLE Score is derived from the sum of the subjects’ AL, ranging from 4 to 32.

Subject-Based Banding

Throughout their secondary school education, students can take subjects at three subject levels, known as G1, G2, G3 (G stands for General), mapped from the previous N(T), N(A) and Express standards respectively.
